For 2018, ThankYou Rewards wanted to rethink the way they speak to loyalty cardmembers in their monthly emails.
The ask: Design a newsletter-style template, with modules that can be personalized based on cardmembers’ points balance. Make it clean, scannable, and more aligned with the overarching Citi brand.
Over the course of 12 months, my partner and I developed over 100 distinct modules, written and designed to be repurposed, based on future month’s strategies. The challenge came from having a lot to say, with not a lot of characters to say it. A tale as old as time.
